Programme Information

BA-AHCC is an applied computing programme that emphasizes practical work and skills for developing efficient and reliable software. Apart from traditional computing subjects such as computer programming, it also provides supplementary knowledge from graphic design and various application areas in order to develop students’ ability to produce attractive and user-friendly software solutions. The programme also offers a wide range of elective subjects covering many hot-topics in computer science, including artificial intelligence, financial computing, HCI and more.

Career Prospect and Recognition

Hong Hong is currently experiencing a shortage of IT talents. Graduates of our programme are qualified to  work in a in a large number of jobs in software development, graphic design and the creative industries. Our programme has received QF Level 5 accreditation by HKCAAVQ and is supported by the government’s SSSDP programme.

Government  Support (SSSDP)

This programme has been selected by the Education Bureau of HKSAR Government to join the Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions (SSSDP). A subside of over HK$41,000 per year will be granted to BA-AHCC entrants under SSSDP starting in the 2018-19 academic year. (JUPAS code: JSSH03)
